Ivovik Wind Farm has won the Wind Energy Star Award, which was presented at the Fourth Sarajevo Energy Forum (SEF).

This is an international forum that brings together the most eminent experts in the field of energy, representatives of institutions, the business community, as well as the academic and research community, and decision-makers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. In recent years, the Sarajevo Energy Forum has emerged as one of the most important regional venues for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and ideas on the energy transition.

The Wind Energy Star Award is presented to projects and initiatives that demonstrate that wind energy is becoming one of the key pillars of the energy transition in the region. This award confirms the importance of the Ivovik Wind Farm project in the development of sustainable and renewable energy sources in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as its contribution to the decarbonization of the energy sector.

This year’s edition of the Sarajevo Energy Forum addressed currently relevant energy topics, including the CBAM mechanism, battery storage, electromobility, energy diversification, power exchange, as well as the challenges and opportunities facing the energy sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.
