On May 23, 2023, a ground-breaking ceremony for the 110kV transmission line project of the Ivovik 84MW wind farm in Bosnia and Herzegovina was held at the project site. Representatives from the Transco BiH, Ivovik WF Company, the owner’s engineer and the transmission line construction contractor attended the ceremony.

The 110kV transmission line is a project relatively independent of the wind farm construction, and the project approval and other work can only be started after the wind farm has a complete start-up certificate.

On April 28, 2023, the Construction Permit was issued by the competent government department. On May 16, the State Transmission Company of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a start-up order. At present, the contractor is carrying out civil works such as terrain clearance, excavation and foundation laying out of the access road.

The start of the construction of the transmission line is an important step for the synchronisation of the substation and realization of the project’s goal of power generation.

The transmission line of the Ivovik project has a total length of about 2 kilometers and a voltage level of 110kV. A total of 7 towers are designed and they will be connected to the currently completed Livno substation to Tomislavgrad substation. The access conditions of the 110kV line have been approved by the State Transmission Company of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
