March 5th marks the World Energy Efficiency Day—an occasion for individuals, organizations, and governments to raise awareness about the importance of energy-saving practices. While it is crucial for countries to invest in technologies that conserve energy, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impacts, small changes in everyday habits can also have a significant effect on reducing energy consumption.

To honor this day, Ivovik has launched the “Employee Green Pledge” initiative, encouraging our team members to commit to at least one long-term energy-saving action, both at home and in the office. Employees were invited to contribute their own ideas on how they can make a difference. Some of their suggestions include: turning off lights and equipment when not in use, unplugging chargers and electronics when they are not needed, setting computers and office equipment to energy-saving modes, minimizing paper waste by using digital documents whenever possible, printing double-sided and only when necessary, recycling paper for notes, avoiding disposable products in favor of reusable alternatives, and staying informed about climate change and energy-saving efforts year-round.

Ivovik Wind Farm remains dedicated to supporting a greener and cleaner Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world. With an annual output of 259 GWh, the wind farm helps reduce CO2 emissions by an estimated 244,000 tons per year.
