At 16:00 on December 6th, 2022, the 84 MW Ivovik wind power project in Bosnia and Herzegovina ushered in an important milestone that had been expected for a long time: as the hook was slowly pulled between the main crane and the impeller, the first wind turbine of the project has successfully completed the hoisting of the whole machine in nearly 10 days. This marks that Ivovik project has entered the stage of turbine installation and debugging before the winter break of the first year of construction, creating a favorable situation for the completion of the main construction of the project and grid-connected power generation in 2023.
A total of 20 Goldwind 4.2 MW wind turbines will be installed in the 84 MW wind power project of Ivovik in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The hub height of the wind turbine is 100 meters, the length of the blades is 67 meters, and the total hoisting weight of a single wind turbine is about 500 tons. It is currently the wind power project with the largest single unit capacity in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
