VE Ivovik had the honor of supporting a very unusual and interesting event that combines education, play and humanity. The 3rd Children’s Firefighting Olympics was held in Lištani near Livno at the end of May, organized by the Voluntary Firefighting Association Sveta Ana. Fifth-grade elementary school students from the Livno area took part and learned through competitive games, laughter and socializing about the firefighting profession, the risks of fire and the importance of teamwork.
Ten interesting and educational games were organized for them on a specially prepared training ground, carefully designed to simulate certain situations that firefighters encounter every day - but in a form adapted to children - fun and safe. The highlight of the day was a demonstration exercise of firefighting intervention in an open area, which caused real enthusiasm among the little ones.
The whole event was not just a game – it was also an important step in raising future responsible citizens, who understand the importance of fire safety and are ready to help each other. Instead of sitting in classrooms, the children spent the day outdoors, learning through experience, developing team spirit and cultivating awareness of the importance of firefighters in the community.
The Ivovik Wind Farm recognized the significance of such an event and proudly supported this year’s Firefighting Olympics, confirming its commitment to investing in educational, sports and socially beneficial activities, as well as promoting healthy lifestyles and environmental protection.
